Artistic Design uses the Aquascape 20 step method to install the Aquascape ecosystem pond.

We begin by:

  1. Marking the area for the pond, then
  2. Position the mechanical skimmer and biofalls filters,
  3. Lay the flexible PVC plumbing,
  4. Hook up the the biofalls filter,
  5. Excavate the pond area,
  6. Install the 45 mil fish safe rubber liner and underlayment,
  7. Hook up the mechanical skimmer unit,
  8. Add the rocks and gravel to completely cover the liner,
  9. Position and install the underwater lighting,
  10. Wash down the stone and gravel,
  11. Fill the pond,
  12. Build the waterfall and stream,
  13. Bring in topsoil and completely bury the biofalls unit,
  14. Build a retaining wall around the berm,
  15. Tweak the waterfall,
  16. Trim the excess liner,
  17. Mulch the berm,
  18. Clean up,
  19. Give the customer the Homeowners video manual and container of beneficial bacteria,
  20. Answer any questions the proud new owner may have and the job is complete!
